Another Halloween came and went with fall weather and leaves at it's heels. I like Halloween. Always have. Something about dressing up in character and seeing carved pumpkins, eating candy like there is not tomorrow and don't forget the scary movies:) This year, nearing my 29th birthday, is no exception!
I am a big fan of the clever, semi-homemade costumes as of a few years now and came up with a great idea for my roomie and one of my best friends, Alicia and me...Woody and Buzz from Toy Story:) Naturally I wanted to be the spaceranger lol. I must say, we looked pretty darn awesome! I even had a fun day of craft and costume making with my nieces Olivia and Addy to prepare:) What GREAT help those two talented girls were! I owe most of my amazing costume to their expert advice and creativity. (Insert shout out to my two favorite munchkins here...YOUR AUNTIE RACHAEL LOVES YOU!!)
Alicia, Adam, Chris and I went out downtown on the Saturday before Halloween. Ended up meeting up with some friends and doing a bit of bar hopping, which is always a good time:)

On actual Halloween, Monday this year, Adam and I had pumpkin chili and cornbread at my sister Sunshine's house with Addy and Livy (DELISH;) and then Adam and I went to a few of our favorite places on Hawthorne including OUR place...Zac's Shack:) A delightfully Portland hot dog bar where we had all our best first encounters when we first began dating and getting to know eachother earlier this year. Such WONDERFUL memories:D
