Independence Day!!

Happy belated 4th friends!! This year, Adam and I decided that we wanted to try something new for the 4th so we spent the evening down at the Blue's Festival on the waterfront :) Lots going on with everyone on the 4th this year, but this sounded different and entertaining as well! The music was great! Food wasn't too bad either, the only downside, no drinking since the walk to the porta-potty was soooooo far away! The fireworks show was good, but could have been SPECTACULAR if they hadn't set up the barge directly behind one of the stages and a large tree lol. All in all, I would call the 4th a successful and fun-tastic time:)
 Full crowd!
 EXCITED!!
 We got a MASSIVE nacho!

Everyone is turning 30!

On Saturday, July 7th Adam and I had not one, but TWO 30th birthdays. We spent the first one for our friend Jaime out on the Columbia River soaking up sunshine, enjoying brews and having a festive ol' time.
Rachael, Jaime, Racheal, Jaime! We're neat:)

FTP!

On June 27th, I got the rest of my Valentines' Day gift ;) Adam and I went to see Foster the People at Edgefield! It was a perfect afternoon/evening for a concert, even if it was a Wednesday. Adam took part of the day off and we went early to have a drink and dinner before meeting our two friends, Jaime and Alisha, for the concert.
FTP put on a grrrreat show! Being at an outdoor venue was MUCH nicer than indoors as well. We were able to chill on our blanket, dance in mostly our own bubbles and just enjoy the atmosphere. Thank you for the awesome gift babe! Here are some additional pics that are just silly :)
just chilling and singing along while people watching
speaking of people watching...that guy in the palm tree shirt was aaaaaaalllll up in my bubble!
Adam doing what Adam does best...DANCING!!

Now that's love :D

Real:) A gift from Adam on our way to the beach ♥

Lots of ♥ in 1 year :)

Monday June 4th, Adam and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary with a surprise dinner at Portland City Grill- Adam knows how to spoil me...with delish food! I am also now the proud owner of a B-E-A-utiful pair of diamond earrings ♥ Adam picked them because they are unique like me:) black and white diamonds that look like little exclamation points- which is our relationship in a nutshell! I love them!

If I had not taken the time to write about all our wonderful times together over the past year I wouldn't believe it. I feel so lucky to have found someone as generous, kind, loving, fun and awesome as Adam. He even puts up with me:) Double bonus! We have such a great time when ever we are together and I will cherish all the memories we have made thus far forever. I love you BIG Adam Sapina!

Dreams CAN come true!

On Sunday June 3rd our family celebrated a VERY special occasion! My baby brother, Caleb, got offered his dream job of working on a train!! I am so proud of him for pursuing his dreams. I wish him all the best and can't wait to hear about his new job and adventures in North Dakota :) Love you bud! Do what you do and ROCK IT!

Adam and Rach's Anniversary day-venture!

Time for some blogging catchup! Whoops! Turns out it is quite tricking keeping updated without everyday access to a computer of my own...

On Saturday June 2nd Adam and I headed to Astoria to start our day drive up the WA coastal highway for our anniversary adventure :) We will have officially been together for a year on June 4th! WOW!! What a wonderful first year it has been ♥
The weather started off a bit bleary on the drive out of Portland, but once we were close to the coast it cleared right up for us like it was sunny just for us :) Adam and I had a lovely lunch at Fort George Brewery (a place we have been looking forward to visiting for awhile!) including trying some different brews and of course buying some merch-a hat for Adam and a baseball tee for me, to remember the occasion :P On our way out of town we even caught a free pirate ship shoot-out show, SCORE!
We continued our drive up the WA coast stopping when and where ever we pleased enjoying the day together ♥
 Check out this day!
 He's pretty awesome :p
It was a perfect way to celebrate the last wonderful year we have spent laughing, loving, exploring and sharing our lives together :) I love you babe and can't wait to celebrate many more day-ventures with you!!
