much ado about nothing: First weekend in July (PART 3) Sunriver!

Can you believe we squeezed yet another trip into this weekend?!? :) It was a busy one, but so worth it! After heading home from Depot Bay on Saturday afternoon, we met up with the crew for pre-game drinks at Marathon then everyone, but me went to the Timber's match. I didn't have a ticket to this match so I relaxed in preparation for the drive to Sunriver by watching from my comfy couch. We had plans to meet up with Janelle, Joe, Maddie, Jess, Matt, Nicole, and Grant plus the pups Olive and Jack for a day and night in Sunriver.

On Sunday morning, we packed up Adam's jeep and started our Sunriver adventure! And what an adventure it was:) Adam and I entertained ourselves by singing, dancing, and of course car games-which were quite inventive and hilariously clever;)

We made it to Bend and met up with everyone after a quick lunch for us and hiking and brewery tour for them. The rental house was awesome! We drank some beers, Matt and Joe made some delish bacon bbq chicken with corn on the cob and Janelle and Nicole made yummy onion potatoes and brocolli! Needless to say, we didn't starve:) We had a game night that evening and did a little luke-warm tubbing (the hot tub broke the day we got there, bummer). All in all it was a fun night with good friends and some much needed baby Maddie time:D

On the 4th, Monday, we packed up and Jess, Matt, Adam and I headed into Bend to hang out for a bit before going home. There was a lovely little market/4th of July festivities along the river for us to wander about and enjoy some sun! It was a fabulously busy weekend, but totally worth it!

For 4th of July fireworks that night, Adam and I headed up to Fort Vancouver with some of his good friends from high school. A wonderfully relaxing way to finish off our fun-filled, action-packed weekend of adventures!!
