Don't get your panties in a bunch

For those of you who see my daily Facebook posts this week, you'll be aware that for the past two mornings in a row I have managed to put my underpants on inside out, not realizing until I'm at work. How have I managed this you might ask?? Well, there are the obvious reasons this could be happening... I've been getting dressed in the dark, I'm staying at a strange place and unfamiliar with my surroundings in the morning, I'm straight up lazy, I'm half asleep in the morning before work etcetera, etcetera... However, none of these things are that unusual for me. I'm fairly used to waking up around 6-6:30ish and doing my best to be quiet while Adam sleeps, he doesn't have to be up until after 9. I even pick and set my clothes out the night before to help avoid the problem of stumbling around in the dark! Housesitting/dog sitting (what I am doing this week) has become second nature. I'll admit, I'm lazy in the mornings and usually exhausted. I.am.not.a.morning.person. I don't enjoy having time in the morning to relax before work. I sleep as much as I can with still having time to get ready and out the door for work. Making coffee and time to pet Falcon and Panda are about all I allow for additional to normal morning routines while I'm sleep walking :) So can I explain why this occurred? No. I do know that it didn't happen this morning! Then again, I got up at 7:45 and dressed in the light. Hmmmm.... strange coincidence? I think not :)

I guess I should be grateful that I remembered underpants at all! I have heard many funny stories from friends and family about 'panty mishaps':) Some ended up inside out like mine, others were backwards, some forgot them all together! In the end, since my underpants were clean (on both sides lol) it didn't really matter that I had them on inside out, but this is honestly the first time this has ever happened to me in 31 years so I find it hilarious! I have decided that inside out is way better than having my panties in a bunch (AKA a wedgie :) Cheer's to experiencing more hilarity as this unusual week comes to a close!
