Tick tock

It's official... 1 week until Catching Fire is out in theaters and I.am.excited!!! I'm big on seeing movies in the theater fairly regularly, but when my favorite novels are converted to film I become like a kid in a candy store! I don't enjoy midnight showings, but have sacrificed several nights camped out in line for my favorites :)
The Hunger Games book series was one that I admit I read the first few pages, wasn't initially drawn into and put down. It was not until months later that I was presented with the book again and gave it a real go. What a surprise book one of the series was! I was hooked before the first chapter was over. I think I read all three books within a few weeks.

When the first film rendition came out, I was a bit disappointed in the changes made. I didn't feel as though it mirrored the book well enough and the characters were not nearly developed well enough. With a new director for Catching Fire, I have high hopes that this next film will be much better. Already most of what I have seen from pictures and previews seems promising and much more true to the book, which I appreciate more than anything. So friends, if you are as excited as Adam and I and want to go see Catching Fire (that's right, I even got Adam to read the books:) hit us up!
