Your excitement is inspiring

 

Artistic creativity has never been my strong suit. I like structure. I thrive on order and having a 'method to the madness' so to speak. As a child, I absolutely loved coloring books, actually just coloring in the lines in general. I don't remember drawing though. Line dancing and karaoke are two of my favorite things to do...sing the words to the song of your choice and learn the steps to dance the dance that goes with each song. I was creative in the way that I played and interacted with my brother and friends, in my writing and my book choices, but as far as actual ARTistic talent went, I didn't have much.

Some may say that a lack of ARTistic creativity makes me a follower. I have, in fact, been told that I wasn't a leader because I preferred line dancing routines to just free styling out on the dance floor. Hello? The whole point of going to country bars IS to line dance! If I wanted to shake my booty and dance my own jigs I would just go to a regular dance club. I didn't give it too much thought seeing as it was a random dude at a bar, but still, annoying non the less. In regards to those who would say that a lack of ARTistic creativity makes me a follower, I would respectfully disagree. I'm very capable of stepping into the position of leader as well as leading others effectively. I don't necessarily think that to be a good leader one must be creative in the ARTistic manner. I think a good leader should have the ability to inspire creativity in those around you. Inspiring others in no easy task. I happen to be pretty good at this in certain situations :) What I lack in ARTistic creativity, I make up for in passion, enthusiasm, dedication, follow through and motivation. Truth. It's all about using your strengths to your advantage when trying inspiring others is your goal. Leading by example, i.e. your own enthusiasm and excitement for the task at hand can be contagious to your advantage!
